Pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon along the waterfront but still a nice walk towards the iconic sculpture that is a symbol of Qingdao. Family with children were out and about biking and flying kites. The large square itself was not crowded.

We came excited to see but it was a horrible sight. There was barely anything and there were so much people. Pointless place.

This area and the walk along the coast is a great place to spend a few hours on a sunny afternoon. The monument itself is quite striking, especially at night when all lit up.

This red monument is by the harbor near the sea promedar. There is nice long walk to the Olympic sailing harbor. Can find people are flying kites and couples taking wedding photos. Very nice place to visit specially in the night with all the led lights on.

This is an excellent place to take photos because of the big cyclone like monument in the centre of the square! Many people love to come here for leisure; expect to find people flying kites, old mid-aged ladies dancing on the square, and many other people jogging, so good to be there.

There's not much to do except a walk along the promenade although there's a variety of stall selling trinkets and souvenirs. But it's probably the experience of emerging with locals that makes this place a good place to go to on a sunny day.

Worth walking to and also walk along the seafront. The red sculpture is lit up at night and the Olympic circles and structures from the 2008 Olympic sailing are also lit up in the background.

Qingdao has more sunny days than I think people thinking about China would realise. I was there in Winter and there were some glorious days. This park is near the harbour and its nice to see people out and about flying kites and having coffee. Its close to shopping areas and worth a visit

With big red monument which is symbol of new Qingdao. Mostly you appreciate beach front walk when not so much crowded during top season. Not so many activities to be done. Option for dinning or coffee on walking distance
