We got here in February, during CNY. It meant less people (yaaay), but the castle is apparently closed to visitors during all times which was kind of disappointing. Whole area is probably beautiful during summer. Beach part should be in better condition though. I dont...More

Go to the little castle where General Zhang and his lovely wife stayed and take a walk from there. Recommended.

Nothing too exciting here but a pleasant area to walk around and relax. Some of the houses and buildings are lovely. If you're wanting to stroll around a little this area is nice to do that in.

Right now is in the midst of autumn season and therefore it’s the best time to enjoy a nice walk within the Badaguan Scenic Resort. I had spent about 1 hour walking around and enjoying the fresh air and view of old mansions.

The castle where Chiang Kai Shek and Soong Mei Ling briefly lived is fascinating, and the beach area and boardwalk are wonderful. Also a stop at Imeroui, which is a bar/coffee shop/B & B is very nice. White lights illuminate it at night, and two...More
