After we visited Heihu Spring , we went there. The very from the top are quite spectacular and we were told this was the last remaining the old city wall of Jinan

Its not a tall hike up at all and its free. The view from the top is quite nice. This is a no-brainer if you are in the area to see the canal and the springs. There's also a restaurant area nearby.
