Walked along narrow paths around strange rock formations and ponds. Crowded, which made passing difficult as the paths are uneven and narrow. Plants and grasses looked very tired and scraggly. Highlight was the bonsai trees but not much else.

This is a very restful garden. The Bonsai area is particularly fine and there are many attractive walkways throughout.

visited as part of our tour - was interesting as our guide explained the layout and history, otherwise it would have been just another garden to us.

The lingering garden is very well matched to its name. The art of landscaping is fascinating. There are also the king of rockery and the bonsai garden.

My wife and I found this garden to be a nice quiet location to enjoy the ying and yang of this gardens design. A wonderful blending of water, trees, rocks, old quaint buildings and a huge bonsai garden. Highly recommended!

The garden is quite nice, lots of great photo opportunities. The Bonsai Garden had approximately 50 trees and was the most interesting part of the garden. It may be nicer in summer when flowers are in bloom.

We were part of a tour, so I can't really complain too much about the crowds, as we were adding to them! The trouble is with the Chinese...they barge past you, just stand in front of you when trying to take photo's and are VERY,...More

The Lingering Garden is a fine example of 19th century architecture and garden design in southern China. The gardens ar arranged ins a series of 'rooms' each with a different focus and all are spectacular in their own right.
