We needed to kill a few hours so we visited this temple... it was alright, but we won't allowed to take pics of any Buddha statues or anything really worth while from a tourist point of view.... overall it was fine, but felt that it could have been better. Also, it was 20RMB per person to get in, and watch... More

Great place to visit, probably best to go in Wuhan. 500 gold arhat - you can spend hours finding your special one. Also a really good gem shop where you need to give thanks to Buddha for any purchases.

We visited this temple in a summer day. Unlike other more famous temples in other cities in China, this temple is not crowded at all. The 300 huddhas temple and another temple with a jade buddha are among the must sees in Wuhan. There is also amemorial complex newly built a few years ago for the last abbott of the... More

This sprawling temple complex is by far the most interesting sight in Wuhan and a must see stop. Although there is a nominal charge of 10CNY to enter, this was waived when I arrived as nobody had change of a 100CNY note! Inside there are multiple temples and shrines, with a variety of architecture and interior design. Around every corner... More

Guiyuan Temple is a neat, pretty temple area. It appears well-kept and is definitely fun to stroll around for an hour or two. It is nothing too spectacular, but for 10 RMB you cannot really go wrong with this one.

Recommended by a reliable taxi driver, as the Provincial museum was closed for renovation. Well worth the visit. A place for self evaluation, special artifacts, and some amusing activities.

Guiyan Temple is the first Zen temple in Hubei. It is located in the Hanyang area of Wuhan. We took a metro train to Zhongjiachun station and walked around some residential area for abt 30min trying to find the 300 years old temple. Entrance fee is CNY10. After walking thro the worshipping areas and a pond, we came to an... More
