This was one of the highlights of our visit to China and far exceeded our expectations. We were lucky to be there mid winter when the tigers were in full winter coats and contrasting brilliantly surrounded in snow. The area they live in is vast and you travel through it by bus after passing through Jurassic Park style gates. There... More

Its great to see the tigers roaming freely. They look very healthy and big. They are also many in numbers.

Feb 2016. Bus has lil windows and they warn you not to stick your hands/cameras outside them. A couple times when stopping for pix you'd open the window for clear pix/dirty windows, and you wouldn't even see a giant tiger sneak up from back of bus and go RIGHT under you! He'd be licking his chops and eye balling you... More

The tigers, lions and other cats are well taken care off and the facility looked very good too. You can see a lot of tigers and other cats. I did not like to see the cougars, leopards liger and younger tigers in the rusted small cages, but health wise they looked good. The biggest group of animals has space enough... More

Visited in Feb 2017 weil in Harbin for the ice festival. Seriously worth a visit. Fee 100RMB for a short van ride through the park, and then a walk back through a caged corridor at your leisure. They must have 100's of tigers, they were everywhere, great shots from the van (grab a seat with opening window) and then some... More

Picked a day with -12 degrees C, a brisk wind, (-9 wind chill), and horizontal snow flurries. the only creatures at home were the tigers. You could almost hear them laughing at us mobile scooby snacks. If your not part of a tour then book a driver to take you , stay and run you back. Your hotel will know... More

A lot of tigers, and quite fat ones. Well managed facility with secures buses hauling you through the tigers which can be seen resting, eating and sometimes running along your bus. You have to walk on the way back through a fenced walkway where you can spot all sorts of cats and also feed them

I was impressed at the amount of space available for the animals, and surprised to see African Lions as well!
