Ha, went there just after it opened. Wow what a let down. I can speak Chinese but they ignore all the guest foreign and domestic.Yes it has many fields of flowers and nothing else. Over priced, not friendly and just a waste of time

The entrance fee for this garden is 15RMB. It's length is approx. 2kms so there is still lot of space to stay alone if you want so. I went there during a weekend and still it was not crowded. I could walk alone for long...More

Well if you visit in spring (that's when the flowers bloom), the views are spectacular. The entire area is spotted with gardens, small lakes/ponds, sculptures. a perfect place for a picnic. Make sure you bring your own food, don't expect many suitable food stalls there.

Fall isn't the best time to visit the Botanical Garden as work is already underway in some areas to prepare for winter, but even so the Botanical Garden is a lovely place to visit and get a reprieve from the concrete jungle that is Harbin....More
