We took an automatic car up to the entrance. Otherwise, it's a good walk up the hill though. A great place to have a panaromic view of Sanya. Good to go during evening time to view the day & night of Sanya.

We stayed at an apartment along Haiyun Road near the Summer Mall in Dadonghai and we walked up the hill to this Park. It took us about half an hour to reach this attraction. The traffic along this hill road was surprisingly heavy and the pathway at both sides of the road were quite narrow and we had to be... More

I visited this location on a whim and I was pleasantly surprised. I walked up instead of taking the transport and was greeted by a bunch of monkeys along the way. Upon reaching the top one can see all of Sanya and the views are absolutely amazing. Definitely do not miss this location when visiting Sanya!

Sanya has many bays and beautiful beaches, and the hill top of the Luhuitou Park is the perfect place to see it all from above. There's a beautiful folklore about the Luhuitou statue (literally means 'deer glancing back') as well. Go for a walk and enjoy the view!

Nice park with crazy monkeys which steal everything; amazing and exciting view to the sea, mountains and to those impressive Phoenix Hotel towers.

We did not visit the park because of reviews here. We went to tata bar on Nanbianhai Rd. You have are closer and have good view of it.

We bought the entrance ticket and inside the park shuttle car.Price is reasonable. You can get student discount (student in China). The car dropped us to middle of the park from where we could see the beautiful Phoenix Island. After enjoying the magnificent view of the phoenix island from the Luhuitou hill , we walked around 10 minutes to the... More

Go before 6pm otherwise you pay 180 rmb for the "romantic" tour which is everything but romantic. Too many tourists pushing for having the best view of the city. Not really cosy. Is another way to take money from tourists. I payed 38 RMB plus 15 RMB for the shuttle bus. If walk uphill for 20 minutes you reach the... More

Sanya is the port on Hainan Island in southern China that has become a favorite Russian winter playground. There are good beaches, Luhuitou Mountain Park, and a thriving city where the Chinese Navy is developing a world class facility for the warships needed to defend the government claim to possess all the South Chjna sea for China. Many Russian tourists... More

The place was nice to visit since its very close to the Hostel I was staying in. But the 47 RMB price was too much. The vegetation is repetitive, though seeing monkeys hanging down the trees was quite amusing. One other thing I found not appealing was the price for the shuttle bus. Unless you enjoy walking steep roads or... More
