This park/mountain has many quiet, shaded trails, on which you can spend several hours wandering around. Trails are of the Chinese variety (in other words, stone steps) instead of rough dirt. Xianyue park (and associated mountain trails) is a lovely natural space towards the north of Xiamen island. There are numerous trails of between 2 and 10 kms giving beautiful views of the city.
