I walked to the top of this hill, helped by the excellent work done by the city to make that possible: paved footpaths all the way up and some nice viewpoints along the way. It was quite a long walk, not for the faint-hearted! Walking...More

OK. Alpine hills with various well maintained trials. Main route is safe and has park rangers, toilets and shade stops with picnic areas. Main routes are criss crossed with many tracks and trails and is a great spot with many mountain bike trails.

Nice trail, makes great uphill run. 2.5 km to the top, 250 meters altitude gain. There are security wardens which makes it safe for everyone.

The view there is fenced off to protect the communications facility. The lower views are OK but only one shows a peek of the river and the Pacific.

Recently renovated, woods with native fauna, lookout points over the towns of Concepción, Talcahuano and Hualpén. Downhill bikers and trash in between, though.

Parque Ecuador next to Cerro Caracol is an amazing playground for children of all ages. A lot of playing instruments for climbing, swings, musical instruments.

They just opened the trail up cerro caracol and it is beautiful. Definitely worth spending time to walk up and down it. It probably takes about 30-40 minutes to walk the path.

There is no view, but it is an ok trail. There's not much to do in Conce, so my advice after living there, is skip Conce if you can.

If you think that you are going to go to the top and have a view of the city from a tower you are mistaken. I went up it today and found a chain-locked fence and an abandoned structure. There is one view of Concepcion...More
