A very beautiful place. Road is in good condition. Village of Guallatire is also worth the visit. Take bathing suit for hot springs.

Great tour of the area. We were picked up in time at the cruise port. We went to Azapa Valley, the Morro cliffs, observed the geographic drawings, the arquaelogical museum(Chinchorrio mummies, Eiffel cathedral and to Arica’s only golf coarse. Walking the south shore scenery and the Anzota caves were amazing. We had a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant.

This 3-day tour was an added bonus to our 3-week holiday in Chile. We managed to book it from San Pedro de Atacama, only a week ahead and have everything that we wished for included. Charlie was most helpful over the phone/email in suggesting an itinerary and putting together the tour. Our guide, Manuel, was a delight and we communicated in French/English/Spanish. He was most knowledgeable about all aspects of the altiplano, including the Bolivian trucks! He was also most attentive regarding altitude sickness - we drank plenty of coca mate tea and walked slowly. With just the two of us we were able to alter the itinerary when we wished and felt that we had a most personal experience.

Sadly we were not able to commence our tour with Latinorizons due to stolen documents, $$ etc. BUT - Jean-Charles was fantastic in helping us out, meeting us at various police stations, providing support and lunch etc. If his tours are anything like the support he gave us on this brief Sunday morning than I reckon we will be in very caring and capable hands. We will certainly come back to take his 4 day tour. Mercie Jean-Charles

Jean-Charles and Manuel at Latinorizons made our experience in Surire and Parque Lauca fantastic. The tour was fantastic, with Manuel taking us to countless amazing places, always informative and with a cheerful demeanour and sense of humour. Jean-Charles was great before, during and after the tour. Coordinating and arranging the whole tour by email (a rare luxury in latinamerica), getting us all sorted in Arica and then his care in assisting when one in our group experienced some altitude sickness were all immensely appreciated. Thank you guys for such a memorable experience.
