This was my daughter choice. She is 7 and horse mad. I'm 43 and scared of horse... I tried to book via their website and email with no response. My hotel phoned for me and it all went very smoothly from there!!!😀 There is no pick up so I just arranged my own tuk tuk and asked him to come... More

Great way to spend a few hours. Horses are fat and very happy. Excellent guide. Keep in mind that the area is busy so the one hour ride isn't on a trail the entire time. They make every accommodation including traffic guides to keep you safe. I think the longer rides have a more scenic route but still, I had... More

My husband and I booked this tour last min and got exactly what we wanted. The tour guide was lovely, very kind and easy to speak to! My husband and I are both beginner riders but he made sure that we were comfortable with our horses and saddles as well as they style of ride we were doing! They workers... More

Although the guide tries to be nice and to make an enjoyable experience the 2 hours tour is not interesting, is too expensive and honestly the places you can visit are more depressing than enjoyable. We were 7 persons including 2 kids 6 and 4 years old and to show them pollution and dirty water around Siem Reap was not... More

Thank you for patronizing The Happy Ranch. We understand that not everyone is interested in an “unsanitized” look at the real Cambodia and so we’re sorry that you didn’t find our local tour interesting, That said, most people do, as indicated throughout the TripAdvisor comments section: MORE THAN 96% of our ratings are EXCELLENT (81%) or VERY GOOD (15%). These... More

First off I am an experienced rider. Horses here in Cambodia are small, lets say they are more pony size. I spoke to the ranch before booking about my experience, I booked the full day and told them I wanted a fast ride. I got put on a lovely pony called silver, bless her she was lovely but smaller than... More

This is a tough one to review. Both my wife and I are very experienced riders... (We used to have our own business training thoroughbred racehorses). To compare to our own horses (and culture of looking after horses) I'd give it 1 star.... But I don't think that's very fair. We took the 4 hour option. Our guide (Johnny) was... More

Dear Trainer, We are grateful for your patronage and your encouragement of others to come and enjoy a 5-star tour/ride with us: "...the best [in S.E. Asia] hands down." It probably should be noted that our horses are not thoroughbreds - as you are accustomed to riding, but Asian and Mongolian mixtures. This probably accounts for some of the items... More

Firstly, email communication was excellent, with tuk tuk driver pre-arranged (showed up on time and picked us up after). Horses appear extremely healthy and fit, stables are clean and animals obviously very well cared for. We did the 3hr ride, would recommend starting at 7am as we did (much cooler). Johny (our guide- excellent English speaking) is a five star... More

I've just come back from a two hour ride with my husband at Happy Ranch, feeling as the place is called 'Happy' :-) Our guide Johnny, was just perfect, safety conscious, informative about the local area and Cambodia and also very funny and pleasant to be with. The horses are extremely well cared for and in the most beautiful condition... More

I was initially quite worried about doing the horse riding as it involves animals and might be dangerous, however the ride went perfectly and my horse Silver was very calm and great for a first timer (aka beginner). Our guide Kon Kong was great, very genuine and friendly, he was happy to answer any questions we had about Cambodia and... More

We had a fantastic ride through farm hamlets and rice paddies. Excellent guide Mr Kong, horses well behaved. Ranch beautifully cared for, horses all in great condition and well fed. Safety was paramount. Book an early ride to escape the heat.
