It is a covered market with small shops set in narrow lanes. Very congested, but very clean and neat. The shops are run mainly by women and sell souvenirs and cheap clothing, Shop a bit for fun if you must, but most of the stuff is imported from India, Thailand and China, as Cambodia does not offer many home products.... A contrasting city, like all the country. We got a pacefull hotel 4km out of the center and enjoyed every evening in the Pub Street Area. A tuk tuk ride was 2$ every time if you insist. Fake clothes & shoes shops very expansive: almost like special offers of original products in US or EU. Only watches can be a... More

Great market in central Siem Reap. Typical selection of local foods and goods, souvenirs, and food stalls. I enjoy bargaining and there was some decent tourist stuff here at great prices. Great for people watching as you enjoy a local snack also.

Lokking at some of the other reviews, I couldn't agree more, it a fun little market, it has a great selection of fresh fruits, sealed packs of dried fruit, nuts and fish; local souvenirs, holiday cloths, light weight and fun to wear, (as they inflate the price's, remember to barter!) . We also stop at one of the local food... More

We bought a lot of nice simple pants there for ourselves and for friends. They are like mostly $3-8. Remember to negotiate!

In general, this market has the same sort of wares as the Night Market and Art Market, and the ones in Phnom Penh as well. This market differs in that it has some stalls selling food items. I was able to purchase some dried foods (including a dried fruit and fish) and some spice mixes. I also was able to... More

This market is certainly not on the same scale as the Central Market in Phnom Pehn, but in its compact way, it is just as interesting, particularly for foodies. The wares on sale are the usual market fare, but I did find a couple of spots selling some genuinely good Cambodian products, such as the My Cambodia little boutique. Good... More

It is interesting to look at the architecture features of the building, the smell isn't so good to stay at the market, due to all the dry fish it's sold there. It is very small and most locals don't really shop there, they go to the much bigger new market, that is away from pub street - where the other... More
