Made a trip over but too bad it is currently closed for renovation. Several stupas are still visible from the entrance and the line of sculptures on the exterior walls looks nice.

You can see its original building, wooden windows and the real Khmer Designed Buddhist temple in Siem Reap City. You would be able to walk around and it is located just about 1000m to the east of old central market. Highly recommend!

The temple grounds are being redeveloped to make more space for the monks and the radio station they run! If you are lucky enough to arrive when the chanting is happening it is amazing.

This Wat is unlike the one in town which is very well tended, but I so loved it. Lots of nice carvings and lots of stupas. It is a quiet place to wander around and soak up the atmosphere. Well worth visiting.

A good place to relax and unwind in town after doing temple runs all day in ruins. I went here late in the afternoon and saw plenty of kids playing around (Not in a disrespectful way). Even though plenty of kids were playing, it was...More
