Made a trip over but too bad it is currently closed for renovation. Several stupas are still visible from the entrance and the line of sculptures on the exterior walls looks nice.

This Wat is unlike the one in town which is very well tended, but I so loved it. Lots of nice carvings and lots of stupas. It is a quiet place to wander around and soak up the atmosphere. Well worth visiting.
Amazing place and if you time your visit well you'll get to see the Monk's going into the main Temple for feeding prays etc.... Spent a few hours here easily and all for free - great history and stunning Pictures obtained!
