Some may find it over-powering, but if you're looking for where everybody is, then Pub Street it is. Lined with restaurants and bars selling cheap beer and reasonable food. Later on, the music starts thumping and there's often almost a party atmosphere. People watching is free.

Basically a collection of pubs and clubs marketed toward the many tourists visiting Angkor Watt. Many street vendors and tuk-tuk's around. Becomes very crowded in the evening and later some clubs played very loud music. However the crowd and excitement subsided the later it got....More

Nothing new here but not a bad place to go for a night out in Siem Reap. We ate in a restaurant/ bar and the food was inoffensive. Lots of tourists taking selfies and not actually taking things in. Gets lively as the night goes...More

If you want to have time to choose good SOUVENIRS or T shirts or any accessories don't go at night. That's where the crowds come. Most stalls are already fully opened by 1pm. Go in the afternoon. Spent leisure time shopping at your own pace......More

Pub street is amusing, the crowds were boisterous, certainly diverting compared to the solemn Angkor Watt sites, quite enjoyable if you feel like letting your hair down, entertaining enough if you feel if you want to walk thorough. It is lively and merry, always filled...More

Like Hanoi's old quarter or Hoi An, this area seems to attract backpackers--old and young alike--from all over the world. And why not? The drinks are not expensive (there's always a happy hour somewhere), the bars have street-facing streets, and at night the place is...More

Came here for dinner with two small children. Lots of restaurants and bars, as well as cheap masseurs and touristy shops. Safe to walk down, however doesn’t quite feel like you’re in Cambodia.

You should bring USD as it's a second and official currency in Cambodia. Bring small notes as most of the restaurants don't take 100 dollar bills. I will suggest you to rent a Tuk Tuk (always bargain the price) for a day... More

Yes, though that is the peak tourist season. Better June when the crowd is manageable and you can get a lot of good photos.
