Nice Wat, very manageable for a solo visit. Typical, but special in its way. Enjoyed looking at carvings and noting the scale difference between it and Thon and the main Angkor Wat. Charming.

A very tranquil temple, much smaller than most on the circuit with beautiful trees surrounding it. Take time to walk around the outside and appreciate the wonderful area as well as the temple. The tree doorway at the end is not unique but truly splendid, look for the small statue peaking through the tree roots to the right of the... More

This one is just amazing. Quite similar to Ta Prohm temple, here also trees have taken over the gates of the temples. I would recommend this place to everyone as it looks very beautiful.

We didn't follow the circuit as we wanted to see particular temples. This was our first one on the list in the afternoon we arrived. It was quiet, peaceful and a nice place to visit. The very end part has the "tree doorway", beautiful.

I actually like Ta Som BETTER than Ta Prohm. What a peaceful, beautiful spot! Make sure you walk the entire grounds to the very back. It was a special, unexpected surprise! Ta Som really was one of our most-loved temples from our visit. I whole-heartedly recommend it! From its setting to its size to its lack of crowds, this one... More

THis is one of the smaller temples one will visit on the grand Circuit, it is mostly covered in shad which is very welcome after a day traipsing up and down temples in blistering heat. As always its a very photogenic spot and the highlight is the banyan tree covering the east gate at the rear of the property, make... More

This is a less crowded and shaded temple complex. The rear entrance is a must-see, with a banyan tree and its roots draped over the rear entrance.

This small temple is serene and not too spacious, less crowded and shady trees around the temple. Walking through the west gate passing the main temple further east to the east gate is highlighted with tall towering tree embraving the gate. It's relaxed at walking around this temple without exhaustion.

Was our third temple on the grand tour circuit. This was a pretty small temple and after a 3 day pass they start looking similar. This was okay but nothing amazing. Walked to the end for the tree pic & then back again.
