People gather here to view the sunset on top of the temple. Go early to find the best spot and wait for the sunset view.

My husband and I spent a sun rise at Pre Rup and it was beautiful! It is one of only five areas open at 5am. We were the only people at Pre Rup very different from Angkor Wat at 5am.

This is one of the highlights for me along the grand/big tour of Angkor. It was small but very interesting and featured some of the best sunrise and sunset views in the area.
