The Chobe river is really lovely and we saw lots of elephant, lechwe, crocs, warties and birds on the banks. The Princess is very tired and the crew were not the most friendly we had on the trip. Wine was terrible - we tried everything...More

Most lodges off a Chobe River cruise as part of their accommodation and I would highly recommend. Although there are a lot of boats on the water in the afternoon, they are usually spaced out far enough that you can get good views and photos....More

Our boat guide was very informative & gave us lots of photo opportunities. We saw the African Skimmer bird which was a real treat. The sunset was stunning & the boat crew were happy to position the boat for some spectacular photo opportunities.

I have done the small motor boat cruises with a knowledgeable Birder and this is very exciting for anyone interested in the wide variety of water birds on the banks of the Chobe River and on the islands on the river. Great for photography too!...More

Great experience. Elephants swimming and snorkeling. Large crocs and hippos. Lunch on the river. Shores teaming with game. Private tour avoided the pitfalls of crowded tour boats. First class job by Muchenje Lodge

The pontoon boats are a perfect way to see the some of the wildlife during your stay. There are refreshments on board both alcoholic and non. A marine toilet is also available if you require it. We enjoyed the 3 water safaris that we did.

I may be wrong, and I can't remember the various dates I was in Kasane but the elephant population and the hippo population seem to be resident so they are around anytime as they are in Chobe NP..... And of course the... More

We had intended doing the Zambesi Queen but changed to land based Chobe Bakwena Lodge. This proved a good move owing to the recent rains in the area. Because there was water all through the park the animals were not coming... More
