Nice little park!

If you want a nice park that has a sandy beach that isn't over crowded this is the place! Small but clean and very shady!

If you want a nice park that has a sandy beach that isn't over crowded this is the place! Small but clean and very shady!

I grew up swimming at this beach almost daily. Although it is one of the smaller beaches in town, it is my favorite. It has picnic facilities, a beautiful grassy are with shade trees, and a sandy beach. A great place to meet with family & friends to enjoy Lake Huron.

Thompson Park was the second park of my childhood. Closest to town was Bay View, in the shade & easily accessible when you are a kid and walking from home. Next came Thompson Park.
