Architecture buffs will appreciate these two buildings: the convent for its outstanding example of 16th-century religious architecture and the church for its symbolic cupolas. A walk around the grounds reveals incredible catacombs and beautiful colonial art.

Your ticket gets you a guided tour of the church, cloisters and crypt, but the best thing for me was the roof. Lovely construction and you are allowed to go all over it on narrow walkways. Great views over the town and Cerro Rico.

Probably the most interesting church in Potosi to visit, as it's more than just a church of course. Tour guide was quite knowledgeable. Catacombs and access to rooftop were nice touches.

I took the tour, mainly for the rooftop view and the crypts. Both were great, the rooftop view was the best of the four churches I toured in Potosi. It's worth the cost just for that. The guide was great -- Spanish only, but very...More

We were lucky enough to have just the two of us on the tour with the guide. It's interesting. Short tour. The highlight is definitely going to the roof and seeing the view over potosi. Beautiful views all around. Tour was only 20 bolivianos and...More

I really recommend this place. Tickets cost around Bs. 30. I didn't get to see a lot of churches and can't compare it but this is a cool place in its own right. The saint in the main church area is believed to have hair...More

We did a tour of the convent. We visited the catacombs, the church and the top of the convent. The view from the top alone is worth doing the tour. Some of the paintings in the convent were also brilliant!

This place not to be missed, the truth is that the interior of the church is not so relevant (except for the very good colonial paintings) as the visit to the convent and the climb to the bell tower and the roof of the church,...More

Wonderful tour (but you have to speak Spanish to understand it) and the views from the roof are really dramatic.
