About
Standing over 2,700 feet and 163 floors high, this record-breaking skyscraper in downtown Dubai is the tallest structure in the world. Burj Khalifa has several open-air viewing decks and swanky lounges which offer splendid views of the UAE and the Persian Gulf. The highest lounge is located at level 154, and there is even a hotel at levels 38 and 39. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill architects, this mixed-used development atop Dubai Mall is inspired by the Great Mosque of Samarra in Iraq. You might want to buy skip-the-line tickets or join a tour to avoid snaking queues at this popular attraction in Dubai. – Tripadvisor

Top ways to experience Burj Khalifa
The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.

    Breath-taking views of Sci-Fi scenery
A great experience from both the views and engineering interest. Could just make out the Trade Centre Tower, the only sky scraper in Dubai when I was last there in 1982! Now lost in the forest of sky scrapers. Too high for my wife however! A bit pricey though.

    Burj Khalifa/ Armani hotel!
Burj is a luxury experience! If you can, you should definitely stay at the Armani Hotel at Burj. Service is exceptional. The views are amazing. I'm all about the views. We got the fountain view suite with the balcony and it was the BEST decision. It's centrally located. Connected to the Dubai mall. Very accessible but traffic can be a pain during peak hours. Hotel provides car service as well. We used it a few times. You pay by the hour. It's convenient, because you get to keep the car along with the chauffeur as long as you want. The At.mosphere lounge was absolutely amazing! You can't get better views of dubai than being up there in the sky! Would recommend anyone who has the means to experience this once If they can. Loved being here!

Expensive but great to witness the development of the city
I only went to the top of Burj, which is not the most expensive ticket. The view is 360, good and you get a bit of history about the building when you come back down. it's very quick and easy to read (only in Arabic and English though). The windows on top are clean enough to take good photos.

    once in forever, do it.
There are three options for viewing, priced accordingly. The regular tour takes in floor 124-125 and is the most viewed. We opted for the 154th floor, figuring the almost double cost for the 162nd floor wasn't worth it. We were thrilled with the experience. Small drinks and snacks available and you can stay until you are done. We did get to view the 124-125 floors on the way down. It's hazy every day in Dubai so that said the views are phenomenal.

Flying high while on the ground
We got the top floor tickets to floor 154. Had good hours devours, but not sure if worth the cost. Nice pics if the day is not cloudy from sand and clouds. Had a pleasant time overall.

    Impressive
We went to the 125th floor, the lift is impressive in its self. You don’t realise it is moving until you feel your ears go as you would in a plane. The views were amazing. I booked from uk with Aquarium, the only time I could get then was 10 pm, but glad we got that time, when we came out the fountain display was on, another amazing experience loved it.

Excellent but outrageous prices for photos
It’s a world class attraction, all is arranged in great way, but actually similar experience at Palm Dubai also has a nice construction video, which here is more basic. Also, 65 usd per single digital picture is completely crazy. There is no costs for emailing it and at e.g. 10 dollars per photo, there would be hundreds of customers. For now they got noone. Very stupid marketing

    AT THE TOP 159th floor
The highest the tours go. Bubbles and great food at the top and then you can slowly take in the the floors below.. On the 159th floor you can go outside (really) hot windy but what a view . AMAZING ENGINEERING The story of the build included in tour.

Great tallest building ✌️🩵💕 in the world
It is a must to visit the tallest building in the world (2023) great experience, good views from the highest level. I went during sunset time, the water fountain show goes on and off every 30 min I think. Great vibe to see the Burj Khalifa from the outside with all the light show projection on it and the fountain show and also very nice to go all the way up and experience it. From the nice entrance to the elevator effect to the discovery from the top.

Since this was our first visit to Dubai we didn't wanted to miss out the most iconic building of the world. Though it costed us approx. Rs. 5000/- per person but when we reached the top and view from that building was just waw, amazing, out of the world every single penny of money spent was worth it.

Visiting the Burj Khalifa was an incredible experience. The modern elegance and efficient organization stood out from the moment we arrived. The high speed elevator ride to the 148th floor observation deck was smooth and thrilling.
The views were breathtaking, offering us a panoramic view of Dubai's skyline, the Arabian Gulf, and the desert. The observation decks were spacious and informative, with interactive displays and telescopes enhancing the experience.
Despite the high cost of admission, it was worth every penny.

Standing at the base of Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, anticipation surged. Ascending in the elevator, the cityscape unfolded like a canvas, stretching to the horizon. From the observation deck, Dubai's majesty revealed itself in a breathtaking panorama, a testament to human ingenuity and architectural marvel.

This is the tallest building in the world and the architecture is unreal, I absolutely love it. It looks amazing at night time when it’s lit up with the fountains, definitely worth a visit.

Wanted to know what the hype was all about but can assure that for the first time visiting the Burj Khalifa, once you are there its a whole different story.

We recommend purchasing the Sky VIP package because you take an exclusive elevator to the 148th floor. We reserved everything a few days before our trip and didnt leave anything for last minute since the lines outside of the Burj are outrageous. You can reserve online and get Full Refund up to 24 Hours Before Your Tour Date.

The Tour guide is very informative and once you are on the 148th floor, you can take the stairs to the regular floors to buy souvenirs etc. You can also hire a professional photographer to take pictures and get them digital on a USB drive or printed.

I traveled to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah recently in United Arab Emirates. However, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is truly remarkable; words cannot express the feelings I felt as I gazed at the sky and ground below. It was truly a memorable experience for me. The building is exquisite, opulent, and immaculate!
