- juliaDubai, United Arab Emirates101 contributionsDisappointedI’m sorry to say, but i had higher expectations of the place. For the money you pay for one entrance, it’s not worth it if you are with a young child. First of all they don’t have toilets inside and since u have only one entry.. you can not stay more then 2h. The other thing i didn’t like was the fact that they have hidden costs. They don’t offer a locker in the price of the ticket, but it’s mandatory to pay for one. So in genetal the price of the experience is clearly overpriced.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 6 December 2022
- ankeet_sinhaNairobi, Kenya2,746 contributionsVery Good and Unique ExperienceWe visited Ski Dubai and it was definitely pretty good. The pricing though was way above , they really should look at dropping them by about 25%. The activities for children and adults in the basic package were pretty good and we had good fun. It got a bit chilly though towards the end. Dont miss the penguin show although the prizes given at the end by the presenters are to their own race as we gave the right answer but they gave someone else who looked like them. Rest all was pretty good.Visited December 2022Written 19 December 2022
- NICHOLAS TDubai, United Arab Emirates5,818 contributionsAmazing facilityThis is such an incredible space in the Mall of the Emirates. The ski slope is large, with dedicated runs for advanced, intermediate and beginner skiers, including a ski school. There is also zorbing, mini bobsleigh, ski lift ride - available whether or not you are skiing, Mirzam hot chocolate booth, penguin encounter and more. At Christmas, on top of the above, there is a snow cinema showing Xmas classics - blankets, hats, gloves, hot chocolate and popcorn included in the price - and Santa’s grotto. A great place to escape the heat!Visited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 December 2022
- 007PHBJohannesburg, South Africa25 contributionsGreat fun- favourite Dubai activity for our teenagersOur favourite Dubai activity. Pefect place for kids to get some exercise if spending a few days in Dubai. We always go for 2 hour pass- the whole day pass is probably too long. Make sure you take gloves and even consider inners because it does get cold (i think the ambient temp is - 4 degrees. Try register before hand online to save time.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 20 December 2022
- horsecourseBoise, Idaho129 contributionsSki indoors in the desertOnly place to ski indoors in UAE. Small runs but great fun and our family had a blast. Snowsuits and gloves provided along with ski rental. So easy inside mall so you can shop and grab yummy food all indoors when it is sweltering hot and humid outside. Highly recommend.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 15 January 2023
- Ravi RNew Delhi, India54 contributionsEnjoyed a lotThe encounter with the cold, with penguins, and the fun going around the park was all too good. Especially for people living in equatorial and tropical regions, it’s a pretty cool experience. Would recommend it to anyone having doubts. Do try the rides and activities inside!Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 26 January 2023
- BF826Birmingham, United Kingdom55 contributionsMemoryEver since a travel couple I followed introduced me to Breakfast with the Penguins, its been on my bucket list for when I visit Dubai. Bucket list item has now been ticked off and it was a great experience. It was so lovely to be so up close and personal with the penguins, bit disappointed that we didn't get to walk with them like they used to due to the works they are doing inside (this should reflect in the price as you don't get the full package). I think the only thing that would make this even better would be if we could feed the penguins as well, as you essentially just get to sit/stand in the cold with them for a while and take some photos. Breakfast was lovely, really tasty and a great way to end the experience. Overall, if you are there, looking for something to do in the morning and can spare the price, its definitely worth the memory.Visited January 2023Written 2 February 2023
- sarahwhitehead2010Essex, United Kingdom7 contributionsAverageQuite disappointed with the overall experience of Ski Dubai. We booked tickets for two penguin experiences and two snowboarding lessons. We got there at 12pm and we’re given different time slots - 4pm for the penguins and 6pm for the snowboarding. The Penguin experience was fantastic. Really informative and was lovely to get up close to two penguins. The photos were lovely too (cost £34 for one though…!) Then came the time for snowboarding. My husband and son arrived in good time to collect their equipment to be told that they had actually been booked on ski lessons. We were told to queue up and ask when the next lesson was - another two hours!! After spending 6 hours already in the mall, we didn’t want to wait another two!! So they decided to go for the ski lessons they had been booked on. After the time it took to sort all of this, it was then 6.10pm and they had missed 10 minutes of their lesson, my son was upset to have arrived late to the slopes with the other children already set up and when I spoke to customer service they dismissed their error completely and refused any kind of refund for the hassle they’d caused. Poor poor customer service. So one tip I can give is to check and recheck the staff at the desks have booked you on the correct thing! And also take extra socks - it is REALLY cold in there!!!Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 16 February 2023
- Eli G.Tel Aviv, Israel57 contributionsGreat Polar experience in the desertIt was a hot and sweaty day, so stepping into the indoor ski experience was a bright move. The place offers few pass options and I chose the basic one. It gives a variety of easy and nice snow experience. Great option to kill some time.Visited March 2023Travelled soloWritten 3 March 2023
- Jackie R4 contributionsBizarre..real snow in the desertMy boys wanted to try snowboarding. The lessons were well taught in small groups ensuring pretty quick progress. The equipment was all available for rent and spectators were able to renmt snow boots and Puffa type coats. Really unbelievable that in the heat of a desert region they can create a perfect alpine experience...but the have. Chairlifts and escalator belts etc.Visited February 2023Written 15 March 2023

The main attraction in the Mall of the Emirates. Totally unexpected, to find a ski slope, even a small one, in the desert. A unique and interesting experience.

Can get a little expensive depending on the packages you select but this place is pretty amazing especially the penguin experience, definitely worth it if you LOVE 🐧 penguins. Only negative is the extremely high prices to buy your pictures with since you can't take your own. That's how they get you.

My experience was awesome. Mr Hossam the manager on duty made sure my son and I had a great time despite the fact that our voucher was not a recent one. I told him my son and I came all the way from Sharjah to have fun. And it will be a waste of energy and my son will really feel bad if he could not see the snow experience I have been promising him long time ago. Mr Hossam saw how apologetic I was and the sad face on my son and he decided to let us use the voucher. Thank so much to you. I will always remember this favour you did for me and my son. God bless 🙏🙏🙏

I along with my family (4 members) had visited Ski Dubai on the 7th Nov 2023. We had taken the premium pass which includes all the activities including the penguin encounter for around 1500 AED for 4 people. However, after paying so much amount and taking the best available package online there was a constant upselling that was being done in the park to buy something or the other at extra cost. Moreover, we were not even allowed to take pictures in the penguin encounter while their own photographers were clicking our pictures and selling at 150 AED for each photo. The slope activity is not being allowed to be done if you are not at a minimum level 2 and all the other adventure sports like snow boarding etc were not available during the time we visited. Most of the things are not clearly communicated while you are booking the package, later either the things are not available or they are even more cost. Also, the photos that were part of our package were also not provided in soft copies. It is completely cheating in the park and the staff which is helping in performing the activities are also not at all hospitable. I had a very bad experience and would never recommend anyone to go here as the mind set is to mint more and more money from the visitors at every point. Also, my suggestion is to go to natural snow place like mount titlis etc as the temperature there feels less cold in comparison to this artificial one. Here you feel more cold than the temperature shown in the display may be due to no sun light. This level of maintenance of this temperature is also contributing so drastically to global warming. I have never visited such a money minded facility before.

Good experience, where else in the world do you get to go snow skiing when it’s 40c outside?? Would recommend it, we took the family of 4 experience pass which included skiing, zorbing, toboggan slide. Reasonable value for money, clean clothes but boots and skis were very tired/worn. The quality of the equipment was the only downside.

The day we went was not crowded.
Thus, easier to move around and get to play the rides multiple time.
We decided to sign up for the discovery ski school.
It was so much fun.
The instructor, Kumar, was so patience and helpful.
He always ensure our safety and importantly we have fun.

Where can i keep my 6 month old to enter ski dubai with my 11 year old

Actually there is no place for babies within mall of the emirates. You need to arrange nanny or part time unfortunately to enter with the older kid. This is actually unfortunate within the area

What is appropriate clothing?
Loen Risu

They usually give warm clothing, so just wear casual clothes. Also bring gloves because they don’t provide them.
Any guidelines for visiting with a 2.4 year old toddler? Are gloves and caps available for them or we have to bring our own?
Noora A
Dubai, United Arab Emirates26 contributions
Jackets, gloves, socks, and boots are available for free, but I believe it will be too cold for a toddler.
Hi. I was wondering if it is allowed to bring my own clothes and shoes for ski dubai?
Thanks

You can indeed. I brought my own ski socks and gloves. I wouldn't bring my own ski suit as it would have taken up too much room in my luggage - but if that's not a problem for you, go ahead. Enjoy your trips
