This beach is home for the rich and elites of dubai. Thats my personal assumption judging with the villas around the place and thinking how much would it cost to live near the Jumeira Beach. December 2015

So we only stopped by as part of a city tour. Got to put my feet in the ocean. Would have loved to spend a few hours as it was lovely and not crowded. Not much shade so bring your own!

Love love this place, planning to go back later this year. Though I didn't lie on the beach going for a stroll is idealic. Near hotels and resturants.

We came a couple of times to this beach. It is very nice. The sea has several shades of blue, the sand is almost white and you get great view to the Burj Arab hotel. There are many restaurants around as well as a jogging track. There are some areas for "surfing" and other aquatic activities.

We had missed our shuttles to a private beach and ended up here... It was great! Clean beach... the water was warm... food was easily accessible. Take your beach towels and buckets and spades fro the kids in case you have them.

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighbourhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
