Amazing beach. Pristine with excellent facilities and amenities. Family friendly and we especially enjoyed bouncing along the rubberised walk way.

The beach stretches in a long distance; the water is clean; lifeguards are present; it's also good for walking or jogging

Do not consider this one like an actual sort of beach with big waves and all. Yes it is a very clean one and you may love to spend time in the water but we did not actually find people like that. Looked like more of a sophisticated beach to put your legs in water and get some photos clicked.... More

This beach was a surprise with lots of chairs and umbrellas provided for the comfort of visitors. We have been super impressed with the cleanliness and in particular the state of the public toilets. They are all modern, clean and well serviced.

This is a beautiful beach and we enjoyed our time here but the public toilets (much like most outdoor public toilets) don't have any toilet tissue. Not a deal breaker but just something to be aware of so that you can carry wipes and be prepared. Clean beach, beautiful water, white sand and beautiful views of the Burj al Arab!

Jumeirah Public Beach has white sand and clean sea. But the buildings near the beach make it unacceptable. Specially those buildings which are under construction.

Handy for nearby hotels and restaurants. Sand was nice and soft, not coarse like some beaches. Handy ad well if you have a hop on hop off bus ticket. Clean and looked after and not too busy. Pleasant way to pass a few hours.

Thank David M

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighbourhood Profile
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
