A traditional fish and vegetables market in Deira. Once you enter you find out it is overcrowded. There is huge variety of fresh fish to choose. Prices are very good but do not forget to negotiate the price. You cam always get jumbo shrimps almost half price than supermarket. Try to avoid specific timings because some times it is unbelievable... More

For those of you that does their own cooking, you will find the freshest seafood and fruits here that is definitely less expensive then getting it from the store.

Good time to visit this place is after 4pm, thats time when the boats bring fishes for the market so you can see also unloading of the fishes. Market is huge and you can see many different kinds of fishes. The sellers will offer you to buy fish even though you are a tourist at the first sight. They like... More

The Deira fish markets has the biggest selection of Fresh: fish, prawns, crabs, and Cray fish I have ever seen. It is a big under cover area that is kept very clean ! I like visiting local markets wherever I go on holiday, so was keen on seeing the fish market and the fruit & vegtable market that is next to it in Dubai. Off the beaten path... You do not need to go early. We were there at 11AM, and it was full. Straight opposite to the metro exit (just follow the pedestrians). No need to cross the big road on the left. Nice not frozen fish, also dried ones. People are offering their products, no matter you are a tourist. Typical market,... More

An early evening trip to the Diera Fish Market by our family( Son & wife , two grand kids and my wife & me ) was a great experience , .
