There were lots of books and as usual in all kinokuniya stores, there was also Japanese books section. I can spend one or two hours here browsing to such... More

One of the best book stores that I've been too. They have books on everything and anything. Though I restricted myself to the kids section. They have arranged the books so well category wise. I wish they had an outlet in Delhi.

I loved it there, It felt like an endless library. I liked those wall-shelves that had benches attached to them, so you could sit and read.

During our visit to the Dubai Mall, we went out into the heat to see the dancing fountains. On completion looking for a quick get away, we entered the mall via a back entrance, hopping into a lift which put us into this massive book stall, we are kindle readers however we were so impressed with this book store that... I never can pronounce the name of the book store😂. But it is really big store to navigate through. They have very wide assortment of books as well as stationary items. I love the athomsphere - so relaxed and peaceful. I went to the Kino's Cafe which belongs to the book store. It's a perfect place if you want to... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
