This was am excellent boat tour and well worth the money. Went on the boat that cost 120 dirhams per person, max they take is 8 so it feels very personal. Well worth the money, very friendly informative guide as well.

We turned up at the kiosk 5 minutes before it was due to leave and were told we might need to wait up to 20 minutes as we were the only ones wanting to go on the tour currently. Not a problem for us, we got on the Dhow, sat on comfy beanbags and were offered a soft drink. We... More

Had a very enjoyable 1 hour cruise in the evening and was provided with drinks and a beautiful view of the Dubai coastline. Very good value for money considering how expensive other activists can be in Dubai

We were a family of 3 with a pushchair, they catered for us very well and made sure we were looked after throughout the experience. Bean bags were provided to sit on during our journey which lasted approx 1hr. We opted for the sunset journey which was breathtaking. Life jackets were provided for kids and water/drinks as part of the... More

We had no specific intention of doing this tour, but were approached by a nice lady as we were walking around the Marina. We were offered a good reduction on the standard price as the boat was about to leave so took the opportunity. The boat goes out to sea so you can see the skyline from off shore which... More

This was a nice quick trip. About 45- 1 hour. Which is perfect when time is limited. The views were nice. The boat wasn't full. Bean bags comfy. Very cheap too.

Lovely trip on a great boat thexweather helped & we were able to see the sites from the coastline. It was very reasonable & included a choice of soft drinks & a packet of crisps. The boat is quirky with bean bags & colourful cushions. As it was Christmas the boat was decorated with tinsel & baubles!! Afterwards we walked... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
