It was once a thriving market where you can get almost everything first copy. Mostly run by Indians, Pakistanis. However with newer market places and options coming up, the footfall has reduced considerably over the years.

If you like handicrafts, traditional items, souvenirs this is a place to visit. More Indian bazaar outlook, but is visited by all nationalities tourist. Gold Souk, Dubai Museum, Creek (Abra-Boat ride) are the nearest tourist destinations

You can shop for Bridal outfit at Meena Bazaar a walking distance from Bur Dubai. There are many Gold Shops who also sell artificial ornaments. Make sure you bargain for both bridal outfit and artificial ornaments or else... More

There is no parking in Meena Bazaar allowed. You will have to park on the main road and walk in the Bazaar since the lanes are very narrow.
