I have visited Esfahan, Iran several times and each time I am compelled to visit Emam Square. It is immense! That hugely impressive scale never fails to amaze and overawe me. I have seen it full for celebration and could easily believe there to be in excess of a million people, comfortably able to be there. The various mosques and... More

Arrived here at night and was underwhelmed. So disappointed as I'd been looking forward to seeing it. We went back the next morning and in sunlight it is spectacular. A palace, two of the most beautiful buildings you'll ever see in the kings mosque and the sheikh lotfollah mosque, an intricate Bazaar arch, nice Bazaar, great tea houses great coffee... More

A spectacular place to visit in Isfahan. One of the world's largest square with unique architecture which will cause the visitors admire the ancient history of Iran. A great place to buy art crafts and have fun with family. Deeply encourage people to visit the place. Have a nice trip.

You can literally spend the whole day walking around Imam Square, check Qali Kapoor and Imam Mosque, see the people having picnics or just laying on the grass

A must see location in Iran. A world class attraction of buildings, mosques and bazaars. Now traffic has been removed it is even more impressive. The only disappointing part was that I had too little time to explore. Extremely nice.

Imam Square in Esfahan is one of the most beautiful squares anywhere. Large, surrounded by beautiful buildings and the bazaar, and alive with people both local and tourists. It is a must see place in beautiful Esfahan.

One cannot claim that they have been to Esfahan if they do not visit Emam square. And you can definitely not miss this. This is a huge square. Super huge, with 2 mosques, 1 palace and a bazaar at each 4 sides of the square. There are fountains and beautiful plants in the middle which looks great both during the... More

Love the history behind this square and that there are remnants which reminded us that it used to be the place for polo games...very spacious and as the second largest square in the world, it is by far much better than Tiananmen Square since there are no security and it is not too political. They are doing some renovation work... More
