A mosque with 5 entries not so big as in other mosques. It's a relaxing place and a way to cross to other places. The architecture is similar to other beautiful Iranian mosques.

I went there with a group of friends during the Imam Ali's religious holiday so it was full of worshippers.. This mosque is not easy to find for tourists so I'd recommend a guide. It is really beautiful from the outside ... not too glamorous,...More

Visited this mosque in the early evening last night. Most of the complex is covered with scaffolding and building materials and it's a challenge to get good pics. Quite an impressive looking structure though.

The oldest mosque in Esfahan. Worth visiting, during perhaps stroll along Bazaar Bozorg. Beautiful architecture.

Another interesting part of the town and its history , the usual tilework and marquetry displayed for all to see.

Forget about all the flowery tiles found in many other masjids, this is geometry par excellence. This is a rare one in the tourist places.

This mosque has special charachteristic among the four jaame mosque in Esfahan. With the beautiful persian decorations( mo'agheli tile working) perfect architecture spaces, it is one of the architecture' favorite place. Don't forget to check the northen facade! It has a very unique brick working

This is one of the oldest mosques in Isfahan and very calm but you will get disappointed when you see shah mosque or sheik lotf allah mosque, so its good if its on your way.

Historically important mosque with beautiful ,ornate brickwork. Much less tile work than other mosques in Isfahan.

Otherwise give it a miss. While several centuries old, there are better examples. The practice of shaking the minarets has now stopped -- probably no bad thing given the age of the building.
