The lady of Zahle and Beqaa is nestled between the sky and the berdawni river valley. The chapel at first a beautiful cozy wooden and glass capella then moving forward to the big church . In the middle between them the lady of Zahlé can be reached by stairs and you can overlook the whole area.

Ascend the rickety elevator to the top of this tower for an unparalleled view of the Bekaa Valley. You'll have to find the caretaker to unlock the elevator but it is well worthwhile.

The 10 meter bronze statue of Our Lady stands on top of a 54 m high tower. An escalator take you to the top. Very windy. Excellent view with wonderful photo-opportunity.

We visited here with relatives who live in Zahle and were very happy they brought us here. It is on top of the world so to speak. We when inside for a few moments of prayer and lighting a candle. (We can use all the help we can get while on our travels.) What i remember most was the view. I am not sure exactly what is was looking at but the valley below had to include several towns you could see so far. In the foreground you could see a church school. Like looking from the top of the world. Probably not on everyones list but I was glad it was on ours.
