This is a lovely national park about an hour from the city. It was raining the day we went there, but the scenery would be absolutely fabulous in the sunshine. There are also trails for outdoor enthusiasts and picnic areas for those who bring their own meals.

Touristy and crowded. Elephants treated badly. If you do go, hike along trail along the uppermost falls to get away from crowds. Better, do something else.

Lovely trek up to the falls the view from the top is spectacular of the mountains. The hike to the bottom and seeing the falls from bottom up was spectacular.

The falls are worth the journey, and I am glad to have gone. The crowds of tourists and especially the ones cavorting for photos in the water were distracting, and some were rude and littering. Still, it's a worthwhile destination and an amazing sight.

The falls are very pretty and a peaceful location. Many people were picnicking there along with swimming. Recommend a visit.

Wonderful. Falls are very beautiful. Signage is informative. Don't miss the bears. They are great and need help.

It was crowded, not that great! waste of a trip. Unless you are there for 10 days and have nothing else to do I would skip this. Sunset tour and caves are better time spent

Well worth a visit. Wonderful coloured water that it is possible to swim in. Also many food outlets in and around so it's possible to spend a good half day there. The bear sanctuary is a bonus.

We took a hike organised by Tiger Trails which brought us on route that was not the one frequented by tourists who took tuk-tuk's or mini-vans to the area just below the bear sanctuary. This was a 4-5 hike (we took longer as it was very muddy and slippery) approaching the falls from above. It is not an easy walk,... More

I love a good waterfall but this one surpassed all expectations. The colour of the water, the accessibility and layering of the fall was amazing..it just kept getting better and better We went after a few days of rain so it was a bit muddy but recommend irrespective shoes you can both walk and wade in as great photos in...
