We were so happy that we found this lovely café on a rainy afternoon and came back several times for breakfast, for a snack, for a drink and for a movie in the evening. The interior and the staff are so welcoming and the food is great! The movies are free by the way (7 pm every night).

My partner and I were in desperate need of some nice fresh fruit and muesli for breakfast and this place did not disappoint! The fruit was amazing and we also had a cup of traditional Lao coffee to share. Beautiful cafe with heaps of books to browse and people watch; would go back for sure :)

I popped in here casually to find a good book to read. I then stumbled across this great upstairs section that shows movies at 7pm daily which are free to watch/lounge on the chairs, provided you order at least one drink or meal. Really fun! Definitely do this for a nice relaxed night!

The owner is super friendly and personable. She shows a free movie every night of the week, and it's a great selection. You must purchase one food or beverage item to see the movie and the price is a bit more than you'll pay around town, but you get a great movie in a comfortable seat. The used book selection... I ate here numerous of times during my month in Laos. Excellent wifi connection and friendly staff members! A good variety of western food with a nice outside seating area and relaxed lounge area upstairs.

... I probably expected to much! I expected more book choice and being in a type of bookshop. It's a coffee place with a library and most of the nice books are not in english...

Ate here breakfast. Great food and a very pleasant staff, English speaking. Tea here is great and comes in pots. Every day at 7pm there's a movie they show in the upper part of the restaurant. A very nice place to chill.

Been here twice in our 2day stay in LP. First was at night, had their house wine and Khai pen, a local snack of fried seaweed, served with some awesome chilly paste. it was so nice! The outside seatings are very nice for street watching. so we came back the next day evening. after long walk in the hot weather,... More

I had a delicious vegetarian green curry with sticky rice and visited with the lovely owner - small world in that she owns a home two blocks from a relative of mine in California. The bookstore is very cozy and has a nice variety of take home coffee table books. Movies are shown free with an order (dinner, drink, a... More

Charming place with very tasty green cury. We went there to see "bone tomahawk". The atmosphere was very nice, though since they were using a pirate copy of the moovie, the quality was terrible. Which made the whole experience rather somewhat unsatisfying.

Sorry for your experience. We do our best in trying to get the best copies we can find but sometimes it is just not possible. Usually people appreciate the chance to see a movie even though the quality might not be as good as home and when it happens that people are not happy with the quality, just mentioning it... More
