The grounds were in a bad position but the art in the upstairs gallery was worth it. If you are an art lover and find your self in Karachi this is a must visit destination.

Frere hall, which once was a heaven for old books sellers and buyers, is now, showing, signs of neglect and despair. Despite ever ongoing work, the place presents a picture of haunted house.

Often visited this historic building in college years and later recently over the past three years! Was always fascinated by the architecture and the parks surrounding it. I have taken many photographs here. Happy that its more accessible now.

Visited Frere Hall on Eat Festival in 2017, beautiful architecture and well maintained lawns. The spacious place had been well utilized for setting up stalls and space for eating. My kids enjoyed the trip and looked up info as well after returning.
