Busy always. Beautiful and nice. Many shops and a lot of food join us to visit. We walked back to the hotel near train station and took about forty to fifty minutes. Beautiful but busy in Brașov. Personally I preferred Sibiu!

Nice to walk here and to have pictures, with Town hall, with Black church, the square or the pedestrian stree.

If you find yourself in Braşov, the city council square is a must see attraction. It shows how medieval towns were built and organized by population originating from the germanic states of the time. It features the original city council building, erected in the 15th century, now a museum, the main church and the most famous of the town, Biserica... More

Easy to wonder into, features great restaurants on all corners with beautiful City Hall building in the middle. Can get tasty snacks and some souvenirs, and it winter people feed pigeons on benches. Looks picturesque!

We were impressed by the cleanliness of this site. There were a lot of tourists, and many places where you can enjoy a nice afternoon

Lovely old town - easy to explore on foot. Free walking tours start from the fountain every day at 3pm.

Square was in the Middle Ages, where the fairs were organized in Brasov for both Saxons and Hungarians and those coming from Romania. It arrived in the street market Customs (current Mureşenilor) and near the road were cleared goods. Town Hall in the center of the market, was where every merchant had to sit merchandise and city officials made sure... More

This was the meeting place for our free walking tour. A picturesque square with Mt Tampa in the back ground. This area is steeped in history used to hold markets, public humiliations, and even a carpark during the soviet reign, now a public space.

It is overlooked by the Tama mountain on top of which there's a Hollywood style Brasov sign: I thought this was a bit tacky at first but it grew on... More
