Intimate and friendly small museum in the historical house of Muresianu family. When I was there, a nice exhibition of decorative arts items belonging to the royal family was on display. When in Brasov one should stop there.

One of the few places opne on a wet Monday, friendly staff and quite a bit of stuff to see. They have info sheets in each room in English. Some interesting artifacts.

I hope someone in charge of the museum reads this review because the staff here are amazing. This museum was just a few doors down from our hotel and we hadn't planned on going in. The man sweeping the front sidewalk beckoned us in and showed us the sign. Upon entering, the staff were extremely welcoming. They spoke some English... More

I saw announced that there was a Rembrandt exposition, just around the corner at Piata Sfatului. Starting 6th Octobre 2015 for some months. So more or less accidentally I got into this museum. Rembrandt’s etchings were beautiful and nicely arranged. After that I saw the rest of the museum. Impressive was the room devoted to the various steps of sound... More

Good museum, with recorded commentary that walks you through the lives of several members of this important family.

It's very well maintained and you really have what to see. Hope you will like it. It doesn't take too much time to visit it , so if... More

We arrived late at Casa Muresenilor, about an hour before closing. We were greeted by a man who didn't seem to know Romanian very well in the beginning. He let us visit the rooms and put on a recording with the history of the family. At first we thought there is only a nice villa where people of great historical... More

This is an old villa, a museum with significance for students of Romanian history. But it is also a place for organising cultural events, concerts etc. If you need that, the organisation and the atmosphere is excellent.

I had been to Brasov often and seen most that there is to see, and then I discovered this place on Tripadvisor, which was new to me. At first it seemed like there would not be much to do and see, but I there was a historical conference there for high school kids so the atmosphere was cheerful. It is... More
