You'll likely walk over the Bridge of Lies without realising it! The quaint town is beautifully charming.. I walked around starring at the old architecture and various pastel colours of houses and gorgeous churches and hadn't even noticed I had walked over the bridge!

The history of this bridge is fun and interesting. Lots of people take selfies here. It is beautiful anytime of the year. All of this in walking distance to anywhere you may stay except the country of course!

The bridge is one of the emblems of the city, even if it is only 160years old. The story says that when a lier is passing on, the bridge begins to tremble and all the people find out about that lier. Hard to believe, because the bridge is made of solid iron and it's lengh is only 6 meters. Anyway... More

When we went in spring, the bridge is just a normal bridge, not specially decorated or anything. Nothing wrong with it but nothing spectacular at all. Sibiu is very small and u will cross the bridge a couple times when going about. See it when u walk by, or you might walk by and not even know you did.

Worth a little wander over whilst you mooch around the centre. Apparently the story is that if you tell a lie on the bridge then it may crumble underneath you. Only the the lucky ones will get to pass to the other side!

The special thing about this bridge is that it is the only one in Romania that its made from cast iron. Other than that it's a pretty average small birdge.

Its a nice little bridge in a beautiful area. People have started to attach padlocks to declare their love though it seems a strange when you consider the name of the bridge!

The Bridge of Lies is actually a small iron pedestrial bridge with a nice legend behind it. We've seen it in the winter, before Christmas and it was decorated with lots of lights, thing which seemed a little disturbing. It's a place not to be missed and a nice way to enter the Old Town.

With map in hand that we collected from the tourist centre we proceeded to visit the attraction/sites that this amazing city has to offer. It was fun to read about the history of the bridge as there are a few legends that are associated with it. Our favourite is the one, if you lie when on the bridge it shimmers.
