We visit this place every time we're around this part of the country! It's a great place to clear your mind while you're finding new things about the traditional houses and roumanian customs! Every season has it's beauty at Astra Museum! Definitely a must!

A beautiful place, full of history and traditions, representative for the Romanian people from now and then. A place you have to see once in a lifetime. Great!

This is a real gem. Hundreds of historic buildings set in acres of parkland. Plan to spend a day and take a picnic. An easy cycle from he centre along a great cycle path.

Absolutely make the time to go see these beautiful collection of Romanian structures and heritage. The entrance fee is very affordable and they also gave us a really nice guide book in English to go with it. If you're a backpacker, it's about 4km outside...More

It was a great walk in a beautiful forest surrounded by traditional houses from different areas/ villages of Romania. The fresh air was amazing and the landscape so beautiful.

No, I don't think there is. Maybe if you ask someone from the museum to look after it.
on Mondays I've ready you can't visit the interiors of the houses but can you still walk around and see the exteriors?
