Nice tower, it is located in one of the tight side streets above the Old town. It was built at the beginning of 17th century. It's not able to come inside, but you can still see it from the outside. There is a nice mosque near this tower.

This area could easy be missed if you didn't know where to find it! It's at the bottom of the bridge.

This tower give more charm to the old town and the photos with it are more fascinating. It is called watch tower because you have a good view of the area.

Sahat kula or more commonly called the Watch Tower. Located in the heart of the old town of Mostar in my personal opinion is a sideshow, it is not possible to visit it, but rather must be content to look at it from distance. In fact, it turns out to be closed, and frankly I don't see any interest in... More

At the time of our visit the tower seemed to be closed for public. We coudl see it only form the outside, in fact it was a lot destryed building which would deserve a reconstruction. I'd recommend to skip this point at this time.

The Watch Tower is apart from the center of Mostar, not to far though. Is a abandoned tower, full of war memories, they should invest in the rebuilt of this tower.

The date of the Clock tower’s construction is unknown, but it is mentioned in a document from 1636 (describing legacy of Saric family, which belonged to well known family of wakifs, there is in south part of town Saric mosque and related muslim cemetery) meaning that it was built even earlier than so. The base is 3.45 square meters an... More
