It would be a rare person not to be moved
This is a small but interesting and very moving museum about the events leading up and after the break up of the former Yusoslavia. A lof ot the information is actually the same as the larger museum in Sarajevo, but is is still worth visiting both if only to support what they do. The personal stories of those who lived through these times are as always the most moving. It would be a rare person not to be moved by this.

Really moving experience . Must do in Mostar!
I am left speechless by some of the artefacts shared here. Items have been preserved very well and are explained in great details. I would highly recommend visiting this small but resourceful museum.some of the stories shared here are bone-chilling and I must say that you may have to be strong to go through some of the details. All in all - A must do for your trip to Mostar.
Dear visitor we are happy to hear that we left a good impression on you. Reality of the war awakens the deepest of the feelings in a human being, our visitors are true example that confirms this statement.

    A Must visit
This museum, along with the one in Sarajevo, were one of the most chilling experiences of our young families life. My 15 year old was particularly impacted by the absolute evils of imperialism - and the pure and ignorant brutality, of imposing one's nationalistic ego-drive wishes, on the peaceful lives of others. The highlight of the museum...was the actual people themselves; incredibly willing to help, to advise, go guide, to teach...and to also heal together. This is a MUST stop for anyone that abhors the damning impact of imperialism and nationalism as imposed on others - sentiments that should have died with the monarchs of old.

It was very interesting to see all these pictures and videos, also to read people’s stories about war. And it was very sad. But definitely worth to visit

A museum reminder that humanity is fragile and we are never very far from reliving atrocities of the past. This must be preserved for future generations and the world to keep us reminded of our human weakness

I recently had the privilege of visiting Mostar's Museum of War and Genocide Victims 1992-1995, and I can confidently affirm that it offered an exceptional experience. The moment I crossed its threshold, I was captivated. The museum's collection is undeniably remarkable, and its layout and design exemplify excellence. In summary, it stands as a cultural treasure that demands a visit. It effectively portrays the historical events of 1992-1995. This museum should be a mandatory stop for all tourists and travellers visiting Mostar. It is important for all of us to know what has happened almost 30 years ago. As well as a way to keep the victims in memory.

The museum is also run by people who have been/are affected by the war and genocide. So visiting is the right way to acknowledge the locals and pay your respects.

The stories moved me to tears. It's important that they are heard by many others.

WOW, what an amazing little museum to walk around, such a surreal feeling walking around and seeing human tragedy on this scale and to think this was only about 30 years ago is horrible.

Over a couple of floor it does explain very well the horror of war and the genocide that occurred. You can watch a video on a loop of what is only war crimes, and read stories from survivors.

By far the most moving thing I did in Mostar and for me a must do.

Vital part of any trip to Mostar, Bosnia. Important to never forget. Heartbreaking. Run by survivors with first hand accounts of what they or their family members went through, often before their own eyes.
