Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A place full of history. It does not resemble a typical cemetery. Here you feel yourself as if you are visiting a museum. Highly recommend to visit!

This is not for me. There might be reasons that we visit scenes where atrocities have happened. This is not the case here. Let these souls rest in peace. They deserve better than to be treated as a tourist attraction.

Is the magic place. Place to worship all Polish and Ukrainians civils and soldiers. Place which is the lesson and should be the lesson for all of us.

Must see in Lviv. Amazing place with atmosphere, you may touch and feel history of the city here. Each tombstone is a piece of art. The polish military cementary- I am speachless.

I love coming here, although none of my relatives are buried there. In the end I don't treat it like a cemetery, for me it will always be a museum, an exposition of wealth in earlier centuries. You will find so many masterpieces there you wouldn't ever expect. Not a place for a picnic definitely, but whoever has come to Lviv for more time that he/she feels was enough, take a couple of hours for a peaceful walk there, gives a nice picture of Lviv before the wars

In book of georgian writer Akunin Chkhartishvili "Cemetery tales" told about silent cemetery whom not used now.
It is quiet and beautiful. Without feeling sorrow. The same you can feel here. Perfect place to thinking about something monumental. But choose a time when there are not a lot of tourists

It's not just a cemetery, there's art and stories here. We took a guide and the tour was very great!

The graves of the cemetery have nice and well worked statues, how amazing is this cemetery.
I recommend to hire a guide(also available in English) to learn about history and the stories behind each statue, without a guide you do
not Learn/understand many things.

After reading the comments and recommendations we have been to this graveyard. From a graveyard perspective it’s definitely maintained well, clean and different. But from a touristic perspective I’m not sure if it’s a must see especially if you’re in Lviv for a limited time. Entrance fee is 40 each so it’s affordable and you can take a tram to get there.

I remember we were teenagers when we visited this place for the first time. The first thing we saw when we entered the cemetery was the grave of Ivan Franko. He is famous Ukrainian writer. All other graves impressed me a lot as they look unusual, great. They are pieces of art.
