Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After reading the comments and recommendations we have been to this graveyard. From a graveyard perspective it’s definitely maintained well, clean and different. But from a touristic perspective I’m not sure if it’s a must see especially if you’re in Lviv for a limited time. Entrance fee is 40 each so it’s affordable and you can take a tram to get there.

A forest of earthly delights; wander around in this forest on many levels taking in the beautiful monuments of famous Ukrainian scientists, musicians and artists.

All the guidebooks describe this as a must see but, in all honesty, if you've seen Highgate Cemetery or Père Lachaise - and if you have no knowledge of Ukrainian heroes - you don't have to make time for it. It's a peaceful place, in a pretty part of town, so it's in no way disappointing, but it's not quite the unmissable spectacle that most travel sites suggest. If your time in Lviv is limited, maybe give this place a miss and focus on other things.

This has to be one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world. Set in a forest & park-like setting it is very peaceful as you meander among the sites and immerse yourself in the history of the region.

This graveyard is beautiful. The gravestones, monuments and crypts are stunning and the view is worth the visit alone. You can see the Carpathian mountains in the distance and encounter red squirrels rummaging around the trees. When we visited it was a beautiful sunny autumn day. It is a bit of a walk to get to and is large. To see it all would take dedication but it is definitely worth visiting.
There is a small ticket price to enter and you can pay extra for a guided tour if you wish.

Big cemetary with a huge nomber of graves with different decorated tombs. Very interesting to walk in it and see.
I have seen many cemetaries but this one is one of most interesting.

I never though I would admire a graveyard that much. Around 400000 graves in the area. Amazing sculptures and chapels. As I checked I spent 2,5 hours while walking around.

Quite a large area, the cemetery has significant history. It's also a pleasant walk for a short while or long, depending how much ground you want to cover.

Is also a nice 20-30 min walk from Lviv old town.
