Really informative in Croatian and 90% also in English. Some good films showing old footage of Zadar city through the century. Glass finds are amazing and well lit and laid out.

As you tire of touring yet another Roman ruin on the Adriatic, break from the crowd and head for this Museum of Ancient Glass. It is fairly new, well laid out on 3 floors, and air-conditioned. It features some very unusual pieces, and traces the...More

Beautiful old glass - incredibly delicate and so old. Iridescent. The exhibits are well displayed and information on how they were discovered is informative.

I visited Museum of ancie t glass last week. Located on a hill you can enjoy great landscape view of Zadar. An amazing museum with great director, custos and artist in it. Must see

Came in to enjoy the AC and escape the heat outside. Ended up being educated; learning new facts about the Zadar area. Watching the glass blowers on the top floor was interesting as well.

This museum is worth visiting for its beautiful ancient glass artefacts. However, its setup is quite old-fashioned and only the most patient visitors can read through the huge amount of rather boring text on info-boards. Too many objects are just crowded together in a very...More
