I visited Museum of ancie t glass last week. Located on a hill you can enjoy great landscape view of Zadar. An amazing museum with great director, custos and artist in it. Must see

Came in to enjoy the AC and escape the heat outside. Ended up being educated; learning new facts about the Zadar area. Watching the glass blowers on the top floor was interesting as well.

This is a small but quite complete collection of glass artefacts through the history of the dalmatian culture.

We were there hours before the 3 o'clock stoppage for glass blowing demonstrations which we particularly wanted to see but saw nothing! There was a man in the upstairs demonstration area but despite us waiting for nearly 15 mins nothing happened.(We returned twice more but...More

Very rich selection of (obviously) old glassware - well selected, organized and described. On the ground floor there's also a small shop (really beautiful, unique pieces - e.g. a plate costs 200-300 kuna), and when I visited with my wife there was a temporary exhibition...More

When I visited the museum with my girlfriend, we were literally the only visitors. It's strange that this museum isn't more popular because it has a wealth of information and items on display to offer. Sporadically, live glass blowing demonstrations are also given, but probably...More

We have a rule about museums: one hour is enough. So this nice, small museum was perfect. The glass is beautiful and the information interesting. If you want something to do in old Zadar, check it out. Probably not interesting for kids.
