I went to this museum in 2010. It has the best display of ancient glass that I have seen. Better even than the Vatican collection, it literally brought me to tears, such is the profound beauty of these exquisite, ancient pieces. It is quite mind...More

The Museum is not that big, but still the perception is like "everything is the same". The artifacts are exposed in a rather boring way. They do not engage the visitor as they should, because they do not tell much about the artifacts, about their...More

We spent an enjoyable hour and a half in this museum. It is situated near to the port and is easily found. We visited in the morning and were able to see two different glass blowing demonstrations. The majority of the placards are also in...More

90 KN for a family of 4 was reasonable in my mind. As we learned, off season means small to no crowds. It was us and one other couple in this museum. There was a small exhibition about lighthouses and the rest was about how...More

I saw this interesting museum on the map during a recent visit to Zadar and spent a morning there learning about ancient glass. The museum itself is a beautiful space but was very quiet the morning I was there, so quiet in fact that I...More

You just have to visit this museum. Walk around the old town, watch the monuments and then visit this museum that you simply thrill. Undescribable

The history of glassmaking was interesting, but overall the displays were mostly of many versions of the same thing. The buried urns were the most interesting.

Good all round museum. But the highlight was definitely the glass blowing demonstration - morning to early afternoon only.

While it’s not expensive to enter the museum there really isn’t very much of interest once you are inside, The current exhibition was ok, the other exhibits were less interesting and all too similar. On the top floor it looks like there may be the...More
