Easy to find and not miss. Another gateway in to Pula. Once again impressed by these robust structures still standing and in very good condition. Remember to photograph it !
impressive gateway to the old town Pula is a fascinating place to visit for the day and see so many Roman historic architecture. Well worth a visit and not so crowded in September.
Sure, it looks old but, like the other roman remnants here, it's hard to believe it's that old. The gate is almost impossible to miss when you're entering (or exiting depending on which way you go) the old town.

It might look like the entrance to the hotel or restaurant behind but this really is another Roman 'ruin'. Not as crowded as the others so easier to take a photo.

Easily missed as it now seems to be entrnce to Italian cultural centre and it's not until you look up that you realsie it is the arch you have been trudging up and down the street in search of for ages.
