A very impressive structure and well worth a visit. Admission fee but worth paying to see such an impressive example of roman architecture. Other Roman ruins can be found around the city.

Last day of holiday so visited Pula before flying home. Went to see Amphitheatre only to be told the audio tour was not available and as my wife is visually impaired this really spoilt our experience. Really is an amazing place but really needs audio...More

Google is enough of a tour guide for this one. From gladiators fighting to romantic concerts being held here now; the building represents all that is human. Violence and beauty. While being a remarkable sight from the outside (it is huge!!), the inside and underground...More

Did the audio tour of the amphitheatre and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not too expensive to get in (50 kuna per adult which at time of writing is about £6). I would day that you need to pay the extra 40 for the audio tour as...More

We had no clue what treasures awaited us in Pula, especially the fantastic Roman Coliseum! Not as large as the one in Rome, but very well preserved and just as amazing. Highly recommended!
