This is just a normal bridge connecting Pile bus stop to the Pile entrance gate of old town. Real treasure is inside the walls.

well, as most of this city, entering the old town over the pedestrian bridge transports you back in medieval times, a fascinating spot. and you're suddenly in the game of thrones

The main entrance to the old town get's really busy during the day, particularly when the tourist boats are in. There are stone benches built into either side and it's a great (if claustrophobic) place to people watch.

When day tripping or staying in Babin Kuk (grandma's hip) in Dubrovnik this is the the Bridge into old town. This is a setting for the TV drama, Game of Thrones. During the day it is usually crowded with the usual tourist trade, but at night it is lit up to accent the dry moat and the bridge. A cast... More

The pedestrain bridge gives good access to the Old Town of Dubrovnik as no traffic is permitted. This is also the starting point to Dubrovnik Old Town. As you walk along the pedestrian bridge you will notice the city's patron saint of St .Blaise set in a niche above the Renaissance arch.

Nothing special on its own but it sets up the entry into the old town so an exciting entry point although it can get very busy.

Escape the white hot walls of the city up the shaded steps out through the pedestrian bridge through to a lovely shaded courtyard with lovely views out to sea. Here there are ice cream vendors, restaurants and more.

Nice street to access the old town, suggested visit during night to enjoy the amazing view with the lights on the main door.

The Pedestrian Bridge is the main access point to the Walled city. It has served as a backdrop for most visitors before entering the city. This bridge can be very busy once the tour groups start arriving, so try to take your photo between the groups entering.
