Deep water
Jun 2021
The Blue Cave is a well advertised attraction on most boat trips to the Elaphiti islands. On this low quality trip I had unluckily taken there was no personnel fit enough to descend to the deep blue water with clients. So we floated by ourselves near the cliff wall as the boat was running its motor making the situation a bit scary. I guess nobody dived to the cave without guidance.

We wish we had more time!
May 2021
We had a great hike followed by a really nice meal along the water. The people and food were fantastic and the water was clean and picturesque! We would definitely like more time here!

Blue Cave, Kolocep Island
Aug 2020 • Family
This is a small cave on Kolocep Island that we arrived at by boat... clearly very popular!

The water is warm, clear and very blue. The blue cave is a small swim from the boat and there are a few rocks along the side to stop if needed. Pretty once you are inside. Definitely wear a snorkeling mask to see beneath the water.

Beautiful and peaceful gem of an island.
Jul 2020
Kolocep is the smallest of the Elafiti Isles, not many visitors compared with trendy and popular Lopud, but don't miss it if you yearn for peace and quiet beauty. It is briefly visited on the 3-Island Fish Picnic, but to enjoy its charms fully you need to use the Jadrolinija ferry from Gruz(a mere 46 Kuna return). It has two sandy beaches in the bays of Donje Celo and Gornje Celo, but I far prefer the clear blue waters of the rocky and pebbly nudist beach(FKK) beyond Donje Celo.Along the track from Donje to Gornje Celo(no cars) are two so-lovely little 10th to 11th century Romanesque churches,St. Nicholas and St.Anthony, and along the way you pass through dense pinewoods and olive groves. The noise from the crickets(cicadas) is so loud as to be almost deafening at times. And so few people take this walk.Good bars and restaurants are in both Donje and Gornje Celo:Konoba Skerac in Gornje Celo is particularly good

beautiful island to visit to relax and recharge your batteries. Some lovely walks to discover all the sites on the island and no cars makes it so easy.

Fabulous alternative to the bustle of the old town
Oct 2019 • Couples
We took the ferry from Dubrovnik Ferry Terminal away from the old town and the tourist day trips. It was only 38 Kn per person return trip. Much cheaper than organised day trips, Fabulous sandy beach. Good swimming area. Most of the others we went to were pebbles and rocks. You can rent a sun-bed from the hotel for 40 Kn per person but that’s not essential. We took a picnic. The hotel is all inclusive so wouldn’t serve us drinks but the local bar by the pier is only a 5 minute stroll. They were serving food too. Two ferries back late afternoon meant we had a full day on the beach relaxing. We loved it. You can stay on the ferry and visit the other islands further out too. Well worth a visit.

Part of a three island trip. Quiet and unspoiled, but I guess very busy at the height of the tourist season

Lovely Island

Came here as part of a boat trip, it was a beautiful place to visit, with opportunities for snorkelling and also buying local produce.

Lovely views
Oct 2019
We only had two minutes on the island as it was apart of a three island tour however we managed to cross the island and make it to the other side and back again. The route there is mostly concrete steps and then the road forks and you take the one on the right, go down and dirt track that opens out in to a field with amazing views, a viewing platform and a football pitch of all things. There is a stone staircase that leads down to the rocks and the sea below but there is also a sign warning you to go down - we did, the view is not any better, we didn't go in the sea because the waves where quiet forceful hitting the rocks and a lot of the rocks where jagged.

The little coffee shop in the harbour offers a good variety of coffee and drinks for people visiting and has ample amounts of seats.

Its definetly somewhere you could while away a couple of hours easily.

Small but very cute
Sep 2019 • Couples
Kolocep was another of the islands that we dropped in on during our 3 island boat tour.

It was much less built up but still a very welcomed rest from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik’s old town.

Few cute little bars and crystal clear waters to swim in made it a great location to visit.
