Cannot miss! Over a mile round but the best way to see this stunning medieval city. Over a thousand steps and steep slopes so not suitable for disabled. There are a few welcome watering holes on the way round to keep you going!

Don't just tick this off as 'done' by racing around, take it all in. The high entry cost has been raised yet again to reduce the number of tourists, so hire a guide from near the Pile gate and take your time. If you're here...More

What a simply amazing and breathtaking place! The city walls are stunning and the cheap entry fee to walk the walls is worth every penny! The vibrancy and architecture is beautiful! Will definitely return

We’d read all the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to do this on our own, at our own pace. The tickets can be bought nearby at the tourist office. We were so lucky with the beautiful, crystal clear weather which showed off the beauty...More

This was one of our favourite stops on our whole trip. The price might be steep for some, but I don't think you could get the same view any other way. Be prepared for some steep staircases.

It takes about an hour-hour and a half to walk the walls but it is so beautiful and will provide you with an excellent workout before you sit down for pizza. Photo ops on every single corner.

Nice enough, but very busy - we went in the rain which was mildly sad but there was just about enough shelter, and once the dust had been washed off the old town the view was even better

OK so you join the crowds, and pay your money, but its a great walk with splendid views. Do first to orientate yours self with the city.
