The walk takes about 1 1/2 hours to do. We recommend you take a bottle of water with you. The views will delight.

You need to visit first thing in the morning before the crowds. During the day it gets too hot and very busy, some parts are quite narrow so inevitably lines form. It's pretty expensive, but it's absolutely worth it. The views are amazing, and it's...More

A challenging walk on the upper walls around the Old Town. Really interesting and well worth a visit. Does get very busy when the cruise ships are in the harbour.

Walking the walls is not for the faint hearted. The first set of stairs will certainly test your lung capacity! But once walking the wall it’s an incredible experience and some amazing sights over Dubrovnik

Really incredible views of the city and the ocean. Definitely worth the money. Lots of steps so be prepared for a calf work out, but it’s worth it. Also has a couple of really cool bars with amazing views to stop and enjoy a drink.

A must-do in Dubrovnik, and worth it for the stunning views along the way. Best to start early to avoid the midday heat, but it was insanely busy at times. The Dubrovnik City Pass includes admission to the walls and is excellent value. As well...More

Everything everyone says it's true. The walls are truly stunning. You need to be fit and able bodied mostly as there are a lot of steps. The view from every part of the wall is fabulous and makes you appreciate the price you paid to...More

Some of the views from the wall are beautiful. However, at $25 per person to walk the perimeter of the old city = tourist trap. We were there in the off season (mid-Oct) and there were still parts of the walk where you felt in...More

At £17 (20 Euros) the walk around the walls seems to be a bit of money grab! Despite this, the views are undoubtedly stunning and offer perfect photo opportunities for the harbour and Old Town.

The walk offers excellent views of the old town and surrounding area, be prepared for many, many steps. Unfortunately we picked a day when there were four cruise ships in the port and the place was very overcrowded, kind of pushed along in the flow....More

I would definitely use a private guide who can help you cover as much ground as possible for your time in Dubrovnik. I will search my files for the name of the guide we had. Well worth the money. Larry
