You can enter the walk on either side of the entrances to the old city of Dubrovnik. The entrance is just on the left, and needs your attention to find it.There is a fair amount of stair climbing as you travail the ramparts of the old city anti-clockwise.

This is a no-brainer for the to-do list while in Dubrovnik. No trip here would be complete without a walk atop the city walls and if you only have time for one thing; this should be it. You'll get a feel for the layout of the old city and the views are breathtaking!

If you are in Dubrovnik you have to walk the walls! It's a little long if you take your time to walk the whole way, might be a little longer than 4 hours. The views from the city and the Adiatric Sea are awesome! You can also make a stop in the little bar they have or buy souvenirs! Wear... More

A wonderful place to get a feel for the city and see its activity without the huge crowds. It is quite a strenuous walk around the whole wall so a lot of people don't do it for that reason, which is an even better reason why you should.

After walking around Old Town, you climb the beautifully restored walls to see a totally different view of the Sea and the Town. We love walking these walls to look into life in the City. The view of Lokrum Island and the Adriatic Sea is amazing with the beautiful blue sea there. While walking around, you will see a few... More

Amazing views bit it is not for the weary. It is a steep walk up and requires a couple of hours up and down. Go early.

The city walls is a great attraction to see. You walk around the whole of the old city, it is very steep in places so be prepared for a hard walk. The views make it all with while. A sightseeing must in Dubrovnik
