This was a fun, relaxing, easy day-trip from Dubrovnik. Just a 15 minute boat ride to experience the pleasant walking paths around the island. You'll get peace and quiet, some lovely views of the city and you'll run into a few rabbits and peacocks. Wonderful...More

I have been to some islands around Dubrovnik, but Lokrum was the one I enjoyed the most. Spend about 5 hours there, walked around the whole island and saw plenty of natural beauty. Would definitely recommend it - and to take swimming clothes !

There are rabbits. There are peacocks. There are trees , rocks and it’s an island. The paths are trodden by hundreds of visitors each day, the monastery is a tumble down ruin and there are some assorted Game of Throne props. That’s it. There is...More

Took the local boat over to Lokrum for an afternoon of relaxation in the warm spring sun. The crossing was fine apart from a group of over zealous American tourists who were in competition with a group of Korean visitors on who could take the...More

Lovely Island....not suitable for baby push chair. We took a baby carrier. Visited off season which meant it was nice and quiet. Absolutely lovely.

The 10 min boat ticket/ride may seem pricey, but you are also paying for the maintenance of the island and its features as a national park! Great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the town, as apparently many of the locals do during...More
