A 10 minute ferry ride takes you to the island of Lokrum, here you can enjoy walking through the pine trees, swimming in the dead sea (small safe sea feed cove) or sunbathing and jumping off the rocks. The return trip costs 150 Kuna but...More

We pulled into this bay for lunch and had a great time. That said we did go on our own chartered boat and the ferries etc looked very busy. Nudist beach around the corner from ferry pier

Little kids love the bunnies and the peacocks. I liked the lovely green trees. The sea was refreshing. The restaurants are a tad exploitative. Worth a visit but be prepared to pay over the odds for a ham and cheese sandwich....

We took the ferry to Lokrum and stayed about 4 hours. We visited the pidgeon cave and some Game of Thrones filming locations. Tipp: in the visitors center at the west side , they have another Iron Throne replica which is worth to see!

The north of the island is largely deserted with a wonderful walk along the sea edge through cool pine forests - turn right off the ferry. Lots of little coves to bath and sunbathe in before climbing to the fort at the top of the...More

Pack food, grab a blanket, and take a right upon entering to avoid the crowds and find a great little cove for a quiet picnic and swim.
