We used the yellow funnel ferry, 150 kuna each return. 15 minute scenic ferry each way. Island has numbered points of interest, then it really is up to you how long you want to spend there. Clean toilets, drinking water taps available. Refreshments available. Fort...More

A lovely peaceful island. We thoroughly enjoyed walking round the perimeter and enjoying beautiful views of the sea.

We took the boat from Dubrovnik to Lokrun Island. It leaves every 30 minutes from outside the walls at the end of the Old City. Our hotel lent us towels for swimming and we stopped at a shop and got some sandwiches to go. The...More

Not a huge amount to do, unless you go set up for all day swimming and relaxing on the beaches. It’s very peaceful but easily covered off in a couple of hours depending on how much time you have. When we looked in to going...More

Fairly expensive at £16.50 return for a ten minute boat trip, but the island is pretty and less crowded than Dubrovnik. Rabbits and peacocks wander freely and are not shy in approaching you for food, so beware if you take a picnic, you will be...More

Take a ferry for a fee to reach this island about 15mins away from the old port. You see peacocks and rabbits, cafe and souvenir store. Some people come here to swim. There are access and shower available. Clean restrooms. Quiet and tranquil.

Took the boat over to Lokrum on the advice of our host in Dubrovnik. It was a lovely change from the hustle and bustle of the old town. Tame rabbits and peacocks everywhere, places were you can swim, eat and drink. We walked up to...More

The island, like most of Croatia is stunning. Great beaches if you plan on going to swim. The sights on the island are not much, so don't expect to see much from a sight-seeing perspective.

The ferry goes from the old port of Dubrovnik- under the "arches" of the old armoury right on the front. Depending on the time of the year the first ferry goes either at 9.30am or 10am- for most of the year it's the latter... More

It doesn’t look like it runs passed September. If you google “how to get to Lokrum” and click on the site that has the Croatia Ferries link, it’ll show you the times tables. Many things close down in the winter as tourism... More
