My partner and I found this monastery while out and about one sunny day on our short break in Dubrovnik. What a serene and beautiful place it was, just made us want to reflect on our wonderful time we had spent in beautiful Dubrovnik and...More

This Monastery houses the third oldest working pharmacy in the world. You can buy lemon drops, skin cream and other pharmacy products in here. Beyond that, you can see some of the damage done during the 1991 War as well as paintings of the Old...More

Within its stone walls are artifacts of the world's oldest pharmacy. There is a gorgeous mid-14th-century cloister and a small museum with a collection of relics and liturgical objects, including chalices, paintings, gold jewelry and pharmacy items such as laboratory gear and medical books. The...More

There are better places to visit than a monastery. It is a typical monastery with historical statues but not super ornate as some monatery I've seen in the past

Lots of art treasures and one of the oldest working pharmacies in the world. Enjoyed hearing about the fighting during the conflict in the 1990's.
